Carol Ross-Burnett is a
singer, award-winning songwriter, producer, speaker, and author who sings in Christian
and secular settings and presents workshops on a variety of topics. Carol sang professionally in stage productions and with R&B
groups in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles and working in music publishing early in her career.
Carol now devotes her musical talents to gospel and inspirational music, writes songs, produces her own and other custom recording projects and provides services and workshops for Christian artists. Carol sings regularly with the praise & worship team of Billy Davis, Jr. & Marilyn McCoo for their ministry, Soldiers for the Second Coming. |
Carol is also an experienced workshop facilitator who offers a variety of workshops and special events. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley (BA), San Francisco State University (MA), and the USC Rossier program in Organizational Change and Leadership (EdD), Carol is a dynamic, sought-after speaker, consultant and trainer. Her dissertation addressed issues of critical importance to the Christian church, and her publications include a book chapter, articles in online and print magazines, and stories in Chicken Soup for the African American Soul (2004) and Chicken Soup for the African American Woman’s Soul (2006). She has participated in dramatic readings on two national book tours.
